At Ballina District Court this morning, John Biggins (33), Ballynanty Cross, Glencorrib, was charged with the murder of Tom Biggins, his 71-year-old father, on the family farm on Sunday afternoon.

Gardai in Claremorris are investigating the circumstances of a fatal shooting incident that occured at Wallpark, Glencorrib, today, Sunday, 6th May , at approximately 2.15pm.

Dermatology nurse, Siobhan Murphy, will advise patients on their particular type of psoriasis, management of the condition and compliance with treatments. Psoriasis is a debilitating skin condition that is non-contagious and treatable. An estimated 3,900 people throughout Mayo have the condition.

A man died after being struck by a train on the railway line outside Foxford on Tuesday evening.
